A LITTLE HISTORY LESSON …

So: Who invented what we know as “The 80ies”? Who was the first in pink and purple? Who was against any kind of establishment? Who was able to show the world that you actually can control a snowboard? And: Here comes the evidence for “20 years experience in boarddesign” … enjoy PB and friends carving it up at Whistler B.C., the capital of platebindings (December 1990!).

(Thanks Fernando for pulling this one out!)

    haha,

if anybody thinks this is from the past he’s wrong. This is present footage, showing Peter and friends training hard for their next slalom competition.

nice style peder…probably the best edit in blog history, haha….

ja das war früher schon unangenehm, andauernd hat man sich die nüsse zwischen den knien eingeklemmt. Die Holläder-Kreide fürs Gesicht hingegen ist wieder top-modern!!!

I love that video. But it was shot in 1991 and appeared in the 1992 Burton catalog. In any case, it wasn’t the 80’s. The godfathers of the carve (P+J) were riding Safaris in the 80’s.

    Thanks for the memory trip!
