Amplid was a main sponsor of the Aravis Freestyle Awards 2010 (aka Paye ton Scenar), a freestyle film festival gathering the best 2010 movies.  French ARC member Loic Tonnot and Sarah Martinais won the Best Scenario category with this video “Le Psy du Ski”

After being thru the qualification, I just had one objective: Get down Corvatch on a solid a fluid run.

Things are done =) With more than 6 cliffs and a full speed run, I ended up with a big smile, proving I sticked my line as I wanted to do it.

A victory on the Slopestyle, a 2nd place at the Freeride, that was a big weekend for the Amplid Cartel down in Engadin.

Winter keeps going, y que viva el Amplid Research Cartel !!

I’m a 26 years old french guy, fond of skiing, who discovered photography 4 years ago when moving from south of france to Chambery and the French alps for university. I’ve met there the thc73.com local crew and started shooting them. Then i’ve quickly met others riders, most of whom the Amplid French Connection guys: Xavier Favre, Mati Imbert, Jerome Chanal, the Lebrun Bro’ and Lao Chazelas … .

The consequence is simple : I became crazy about action photography, started working for mags, bought strobes and started running the french alps in order to produce the best shots with friends ! Last season, i’ve quit my engineering job to spend the whole winters with my DSLR around my neck on the slope or the backcountry. Luckily this season we had a lot pow here so It was huge ! I’ve met a lot of great guys and spend so many goods session through skiing photography, so i’cant stop now, i’m  addicted ! The only thing i can do is wainting patiently for the next winter, praying for huge snowfalls !
