Amplid is extremely pleased to announce that Canadian ripper Ahren Stein has joined the Ambush Team. Hailing from the flat lands of Ontario, Ahren has been making the annual pilgrimage to the bad lands of Whistler to work on his park and backcountry shredding skills for the last couple of seasons. Ahren’s hard works seems to be paying off as he’s now the owner of a ballistic Switch Dub 10 as well as a bag of tricks that it would take me a month to reel-off. Everybody at Amplid is stoked to have Ahren on the team and we can’t wait to see his progression over the next season.

Xavier Favre is a freeskier that you may or may not have heard of. One thing’s for sure, once you’ve seen Xavier’s smooth stompy style and super clean off-axis spins it’s not a name you will forget in a hurry. ARC TV caught-up with Xavier an Amplid Ambush team rider to find out about last season’s double cork attempts, what riding for Amplid is like and about his biggest skiing influences.

Since joining the amplid Ambush team in 2008, Spanish shredder Luka Melloni has proven himself to be one of the most stylish skiers in the game; so this year it was about time that we added him to the International Cartel team. ARC TV caught-up with Luka at the Shogun Big Air in Modena, Italy and asked him about how he got into skiing, what his plans are for the coming season, where he likes to ride and who his biggest influence is.

A Dope Beat to Stepp to …

Recently, I was informed that I have passed Steve Stepp on the NS karma scale. I felt pretty bad about this because: 1) I didn’t know people still used karma and 2) I didn’t know exactly who Steve Stepp was other than being a skier from PA.

My guilt lead to curiosity which then lead to this interview. I think its pretty good.
