Featuring A.R.C. rider Tom Wallisch !
Wanaka, New Zealand (August 19th, 2009) The Sport of Freeskiing was taken to a new level today, highlighted by the style and technical riding of USA’s Bobby Brown who took first place in the Men’s Slopestyle competition at the Volkl NZ Freeski Open 2009, at Cardrona Alpine Resort. “Never before in competition have I seen so many riders successfully landing the newest and most difficult tricks you’ll see anywhere,” said Nick Draxl, Chief of Competition. “I’ve never seen a stronger field in any competition.”
Just found this edit a couple of days ago, showing ARC rider Tom Wallisch on his Syntax. Very nice riding, good cam, awesome tunes.

Coast-Make Me Famous Announces A.R.C. rider Tom Wallisch as
Grand Prize Winner
(Los Angeles, CA – August 11, 2009) BNQT Media Group and Coast Body Wash are proud to announce Tom Wallisch as the Grand Prize Winner of Coast-Make Me Famous, a video ski/snowboard sponsorship contest (www.Coast-MakeMeFamous.com). Not only being the most technical and clean, Tom Wallisch‘s 4-minute edit of style and skill had our judges hooting and wanting more. Filmed throughout the 08/09 winter in Squaw Valley, Salt Lake City and Copper Mountain, Wallisch’s edit was deemed as the recipient of a 1-year sponsorship with Coast and a cool $20,000.
Watch the 4BI9 crew in their 2008-2009 season, as they travel around the globe in an attempt to document this year’s most creative and progressive freeride skiing. Whether its Collin Collins and Witt Foster shredding neck deep powder, ARC riders Tom Wallisch and Steve Stepp absolutely destroying the park skiing scene, or Henrik Harlaut closing down every single handrail in Salt Lake City, this year’s film has a little something for everyone to enjoy. Once criticized for our controversial and often belligerent approach to skiing, the 4BI9 crew now sits back and reflects on the lengths we have traveled since our inception. Therefore, it is at this time that we proudly present our 3rd feature length film, SO FAR SO HOOD.
Order their vid now and here !

Movie discription:
The modern movement in skiing is progressing more than ever, and it is hard to keep up with the stream. Field Productions has gathered skiers with all different backgrounds , but they all share the same vision about skiing. Yes, skiing is about taking risks to invent new tricks and styles, but most importantly to have fun. ”Eyes Wide Open” gives you both. The movie includes top notch skiing in deep powder, big mountains, city streets and terrain parks featuring many of the most talented athletes out there. Look out for many unseen rail combos by Tom Wallisch and Even Sigstad, bottomless powder (more…)
